Stories at Large (Got a story to tell? Learn to tell it!) CMC Course Oct 3-19 (Tu & Th evenings)

October 3, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$165

Everyone has a story, and there is a tremendous value as a community to have our stories heard and to be a listener.  In this series, which has been touching the hearts of all who have been involved, Alya Howe will guide students to find and craft their stories with the option to present them in front of an audience. She believes that the sharing of a true tale enables you to see where you now stand within the story, even what the story has to tell you.

This CMC course offers a more in depth, slower paced course to craft and share a personal story. Join me as a first time participant or returning story teller to develop a new story.

Alya is an award winning international performance artist and poet who is locally known for her works Vacuum and The HEaRD. She is the founder of the Poetry Brothel and curator of Writ Large Storytelling Series. She will give you a lot of guidance through your story process.

This class will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 pm from October 3rd through October 19th.
